| Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) and diet |
Foods contain only minimal amounts of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10). Unlike other nutrients, therefore, we can hardly obtain enough CoQ10 from food.
Therefore, taking supplements of CoQ10 or consuming foods with added CoQ10 is useful in ensuring an adequate intake.
